Each place has hidden things to shoot down or hiddden tunnels in it so u can expand the battlefeild. However if u play it for a long time it does get boring so i stoped playing it for about a year and now i love it again.
The graphics r really good for the psp and the sound is excellent. The music is really good and it is fun to listen to.
I loved playing the twisted metal games on the older systems but when i got this one i thought i would not like it but it is one of my favorite games on the psp. After u beat it with every charecter it is fun to go back and just do regular battles.
To unlock the other cars u need to beat story mode with one person and beat the challenges at regular battles. Each time u beat the story mode u unlock a new video for each charecter.
It is sometimes hard on regular battle but i usually win each time. This is my favorite game for the psp.
Son liked it and was one of his favorite PSP games until someone at school stole it.
I like twisted metal head-on, it is a great game. I haven't played twisted metal since the third version on playstation, I regret letting my idiotic cousin trade it for one of the NBA Jam versions. But anyway this game is good, haven't beat the last boss yet, I'm getting to it as soon as I master the technique of firing backwards and shield, I'll beat him.Buy it.
I liked this game for commuting because there's no investment just flip that on and start the fun fast - which is exactly what I wanted.
I hesitated to spend the money I did on a PSP for a 12 year old boy, but while responsibility for his things was a problem in the past, this has taught him to value his things better. He loves car games. I've found I can't go wrong with the PSP Greatest Hits. Haven't found a one he didn't appreciate.
